The Community Transition Program is a $15 million fund to support economic diversification projects in the tobacco growing communities of Brant, Elgin, Norfolk, and Oxford counties.

Cost shared proposals that help to diversify the local economy and create tangible economic benefits may be eligible for up to $1 million in funding

The CTP fund places priority in supoprting projects in the following three areas:
  1. sustainable, diversified economy
  2. community capacity for growth
  3. human capacity for change
The Community Transition Program was officially completed as of March 31, 2009
